Spring was in the air at our February Club night and though not one of our best attended meetings there was also the air of earnest thought and deliberation around as members pondered over the best angle to view their projects.
Members pushed, pulled, prodded and pruned their trees hoping that their potential was promising and that one day they would become treasures within their collections.
Fortunately Bill P was back this month to take the photos and record the activity, thanks Bill.
We then progressed to our Tree of the Month Competition and after last month’s new guide lines re the critique report there was hardly a weed in sight.
Purely due to an underwhelming number of entries in this class, namely one, your truly had the honour of coming first. However competition judge Ade brought along one of his trees to show us all up, it’s a good job he can’t enter.
