An busy pine workshop evening with lots of advice available from the ‘old hands’ which was much appreciated by the newer members and in particular one old artist chap who had let his trees go a bit wild over the years.
The Tree of the Month Competition had only a few entries this being the table of the advanced class which was won by Jack with his lovely little cascade Larch in the centre, followed by Jon’s Scots Pine and Howards Larch
The novices class was an easy win for Sarah with her group of little trees that she bought at Tescos for a few pounds and arranged in this planting for our recent show at Willowbrook and it is looking healthier than ever now.Which only goes to prove something can be achieved in a short time for only a few pounds. M.C. came second but as there were only two entries that wasn’t too hard to do, still he won a bottle of wine in our raffle so he had a good evening.
